Unlike a lot of snow blowers, the Snow Joe Ultra has a marvellous scraper that actually clears the snow right back to the pavement. It is designed to be extremely easy to move and turn and it’s adjustable discharge shute does a full 180 degree turn and it even has the ability to adjust the height of the discharged snow.

The real advantage of having an electric snow blower with the power of gas is you get the advantage of instant cold starts, no need to tune it, add oil or buy gas. This is very nice when you have 10 inches of snow lying on the driveway and perhaps a close relation nagging you to clear it.

Looking at all the reviews I could find for the Snow Joe snow blower is very comforting indeedl.  Most people are leaving comments about how surprisingly powerful this is, especially being electric. It’s also not as big and bulky as some of the larger makes.

Others liked it because of the convenience of not having to buy gas and all the other things associated with a gas model. Many feel as it’s electric it’s much greener and better for the environment. One buyer even said it took all of five minutes to get the snow blower out of its box, on the driveway and clearing snow! The instructions are obviously very easy to understand. The fixed scraper is a real must and does a great job of clearing all the snow and not leaving an icy layer that nobody wants

You can also look at the Snow Joe 622u1, this slightly larger version cuts up to 19 inches wide and 11 inches deep, has a 13 amp motor and can shift up to 800 pounds a minute as opposed to 600. Excellent for those who need just a slighter bigger machine.
